NEAR AI Adds GPT-6 Astra to Its Incognito Route

NEAR AI announced on September 14 that GPT-6 Astra was available through its service. Its post says customers call the model with a NEAR AI API key and that OpenAI sees NEAR AI, rather than the end user, as the request sender. OpenAI separately confirms Astra is available through its API, but does not document the NEAR routing arrangement on the product page reviewed.

The announcement describes an intermediary privacy feature, not proof that prompts are invisible to every party or that no data is retained across the full chain. The relevant development is additional model access through NEAR AI; usage, reliability and commercial impact were not disclosed.
