Lighter announced on October 12 that it had burned 2,452,017 LIT, describing the amount as the tokens programmatically bought back through the end of the third quarter of 2026. The project linked an Ethereum transaction as the execution record. The announcement establishes the completed burn and its stated buyback period; it does not by itself disclose the spending, average purchase price or effect on circulating supply.
