MetaMask Adds Stellar as a Default Network
Stellar is live in MetaMask Mobile and Extension, giving existing accounts a Stellar address and direct access to XLM, trustline and Soroban assets.

MetaMask and the Stellar Development Foundation announced on October 29 that Stellar is live as a default network in MetaMask Mobile and Extension. Existing MetaMask accounts now include a Stellar address derived from the same recovery phrase. Users can hold and manage XLM, trustline assets and Soroban tokens, send and receive them, and swap between Stellar and other supported networks.
The integration removes the earlier need for a separate wallet and lowers setup friction, but it does not establish how many users will activate Stellar, what transaction volume will follow or whether applications will retain those users. The investable signal is broader wallet distribution; adoption and recurring activity remain separate measurements.
