Morpho Reports $100 Million in Confidential Yield Positions
Morpho says more than $100 million is earning yield through Zama confidential tokens, while individual positions and earnings remain encrypted onchain.

Morpho reported on October 15 that more than $100 million was earning yield in Morpho vaults through Zama confidential tokens. Morpho’s public company update says individual earn positions and subsequent earnings are confidential by default. Zama’s design batches confidential USDC deposits into a Morpho vault and redistributes shielded vault shares, so observers can see the aggregate batch while individual balances remain concealed.
The milestone is a provider-reported balance, not an independent audit or a claim that every confidential asset sits in one vault. Morpho’s earlier product page described more than $40 million in one Steakhouse-curated confidential USDC strategy; the newer company update refers to the broader Morpho-via-Zama total. The investment significance is demonstrated demand for confidential credit access, while concentration, variable yield, smart-contract risk and the limits of what metadata remains visible still require separate assessment.
