Summer quests need records that survive the reward period

A July 7–August 30 discovery campaign links app trials and badges; meaningful reputation depends on how completion is recorded.

The Galxe-referenced summer discovery program describes quests, application trials and badges between July 7 and August 30. Small first tasks can make entry easier, but completion counts do not show whether an application earns a second visit. A useful badge records understandable conditions and meaningful participation rather than the cheapest action an automated account can repeat.

Quest rewards and event-based payments share an adjudication problem: define the start, observable completion, final record and challenge window before distributing value. Rules should not change after the outcome is known. Moving reputation between applications also needs selective disclosure; continuity does not require making unrelated activity a permanent public dossier. Sponsored entry may remove a fee decision, but should still show the action being signed, its payment condition and any continuing permission.
