Ledger auditing, network metadata and confidential computation are not equivalent.
The privacy roundup describes Zcash Ironwood/NU6.3 activation on July 28 and onchain supply auditing, alongside Nym's one-month VPN offer addressing possible migration IP exposure. It also presents Monero FCMP++ as approaching mainnet and Bulletproofs* as efficiency work, not both as completed releases. These are reported stages; stronger ledger rules do not by themselves conceal network metadata.
Arcium's reported two million encrypted computations, NEAR Confidential Intents through Meteor Wallet, Zama's limited encrypted-swap test and Midnight data on Dune describe different capabilities and measurements. Pirate Chain's described move from an Orchard plan toward Ironwood remains a direction with formal-verification and quantum-recovery commitments. Public auditability and limited personal disclosure can coexist, but testing, production activity and future commitments should remain separate.
