ether.fi payment terms and Pendle commitments need separate accounting

Payment costs, token buybacks, staking and distributions describe different uses of capital.

A closed olive-green fuel can stands on a coral-red surface.
Technical illustration

ether.fi’s payment-account promotion describes zero foreign-exchange fees abroad alongside higher dollar interest, cashback and cheaper borrowing, without quantified rates or complete eligibility terms in this account. Pendle-related reporting separately puts open-market buybacks above $3 million, staking above 100 million tokens, and rewards and distributions at $5.12 million. These figures are reported program measures, not a return forecast. A fee saving, a stock of committed tokens and money distributed cannot be treated as the same benefit. The useful capital-allocation questions concern withdrawal conditions, reduced liquid supply and whether distributions derive from continuing activity or temporary emissions.
