Jeonbuk Bank Adopts Ripple Payments for Business Transfers

Faster cross-border payments also change exception handling.

Ripple reports that Jeonbuk Bank has deployed Ripple Payments for business customers, replacing multi-day cross-border transfers with a near-real-time service available around the clock. Wider service hours make exception handling more important, not less: initiation, approval and reconciliation still need clear responsibility when a transfer arrives outside traditional banking hours. The useful operational measure is not speed alone, but whether unresolved payments remain visible and recoverable under the same controls throughout the day.
