These are a development impression and a stewardship argument, not measured retention or a new release schedule.
A returning player's unfamiliarity can reveal whether accumulated changes form a coherent experience. Community responsibility asks a different question: whether experienced players can influence rules and priorities while responsibility for decisions stays clear. Progress that is legible without a guided demonstration and governance that produces reversible, accountable decisions offer more durable value than patch frequency or ceremonial consultation alone.
