Polygon Completes Coinme Acquisition for U.S. Payment Rails
Polygon says Coinme’s regulated U.S. money-movement capabilities are now part of Open Money Stack, with four initial adopters named.

Polygon Labs announced on October 14 that it completed its acquisition of Coinme, adding regulated U.S. money movement to Polygon Open Money Stack. Polygon says the combined business has coverage across 48 states, with 37 money-transmitter licenses and 11 applicable exemptions, and is registered with FinCEN as a money-services business. Tazapay, Mesh, Toku and Kira were named as initial users for cross-border payments, account funding, payroll and U.S. dollar access. The announcement establishes completion and product scope; it does not yet establish transaction volume, revenue or adoption beyond those named customers.
