Polygon reported on September 29 that cumulative stablecoin transfer volume on its network had exceeded $3 trillion since September 2020. Its published dataset attributes $933 billion to 2025 and $741 billion to 2026 through September, putting the current year below the prior full-year total but ahead of the same point in the calendar.

The figures measure transfer value, not revenue, settlement finality or unique economic activity; repeated movement of the same assets can contribute more than once. Even with that limitation, the milestone provides a consistent issuer-published view of how heavily stablecoins are being used on the network.
