Samsung Wallet Adds USDC Transfers With Sui Support

Samsung plans a late-October U.S. launch for USDC transfers in its wallet, with Sui among the blockchain infrastructure providers.

Samsung Electronics America said its wallet will add stablecoin functionality for eligible U.S. Galaxy users in the last week of October. The initial service supports USDC transfers to compatible crypto wallets and qualifying bank accounts in more than 60 countries. Samsung says 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices are compatible, while eligibility, identity checks, destination coverage and fees still apply.

Sui is one of the infrastructure networks supporting the service. Sui's October 8 announcement says users can hold and send USDC on Sui without paying a network fee or holding SUI for gas. That is a planned consumer distribution route, not evidence of adoption or transaction volume. The rollout and actual usage must be measured after launch.
