Aave Labs and Sentora launched the first externally curated markets on Aave V4. Three markets on Ethereum allow borrowing RLUSD, PYUSD or OUSD against selected yield-bearing and blue-chip collateral, with Sentora setting and monitoring risk parameters. Access is initially through Aave Pro.

Aave DAO retains ownership of the infrastructure, while Sentora operates the markets independently of the DAO's risk-service mandate. Risk-increasing parameter changes carry a 48-hour timelock, and adding new assets still requires governance review. The structure tests whether V4 can support differentiated risk management without transferring protocol ownership.
