Tangem Pay Adds Multi-Network Stablecoin Funding
USDC and USDT can now fund Tangem Pay on Base, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon.

Tangem’s September 16 app update expands Tangem Pay funding beyond the earlier USDC-on-Polygon route. The company says users can now deposit USDC or USDT from external wallets on Base, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon, or fund through Tangem Wallet, where routing may use a direct transfer or a swap provider.
The change broadens deposit choice rather than removing operational risk. Tangem’s help page warns that each network uses a different address and that sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network can cause permanent loss. Balances are consolidated for spending, while bank-transfer availability and fees vary by region and plan. The useful investor signal is broader payment access; it is not evidence of transaction growth or revenue.
