Uniswap v4 Turns External Liquidity into Routable Pools
Aggregator Hooks are live in the Uniswap Web App and API on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain.

Uniswap Labs launched Aggregator Hooks on October 22 in the Uniswap Web App and API for Ethereum mainnet, Base and Robinhood Chain. Seven external liquidity sources were available at launch. Each hook presents an outside source as a Uniswap v4 pool, allowing the router to compare fresh quotes across Uniswap and external venues and settle the selected route in one transaction.
The company says swaps routed through outside liquidity pay protocol fees that contribute to UNI burn. That creates a direct protocol-level link between aggregation and fee capture, but it does not prove that users will receive better execution in every trade. The useful follow-up is actual routed volume, price improvement after fees, and how much activity reaches external sources rather than Uniswap-native pools.
