The Sandbox Engine Adds Faster Physics and Deeper Editor Controls
The September 22 release adds Rapier-backed physics queries, richer particle controls, animation undo/redo, new templates and editor reliability fixes.

The Sandbox shipped a September 22 Engine update that expands its creation toolset. The official changelog lists faster ray, sweep, overlap and contact queries backed by Rapier; particle sub-emitters, plane collision and improved timeline controls; and undo/redo support for animation work. It also adds workflow changes across the outliner and viewport, three starter templates and a Denfall real-time strategy example.
The release also fixes macOS and WebGPU issues, particle stability, project recovery and several prefab and editor reliability problems. These are documented software changes, not evidence of user adoption or performance beyond the published release notes. Their practical significance is narrower but useful: creators gain more direct control over physics, effects and iteration inside the Engine.
